Ahead of the draw for the CAF Confederation Cup, the African soccer ruling has released the pots for the qualified teams and Rivers United are in Pot 3.
According to the update from the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, Nigeria's representative in the tournament, Rivers United, Lupopo of DR Congo, Al Akhdar of Libya and AS Bamako of Mali are placed in Pot 3.
The Nigeria side secured their qualification spot on Wednesday night after they held Al Nasr of Libya to a 1-1 draw in Benghazi after a 5-0 win in the first leg in Nigeria to end the two legged playoff 6-1 on aggregate.
The draw is slated for November 16th in Cairo.
