Following their dazzling performances at the group stage of this year's CAF Confederation Cup which has seen them book a place in the quarterfinal with a game to spare, Rivers United will know their knockout round opponent on 5th of April 2023, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.
This was made known by the African Football Governing Body (CAF) on Wednesday 29th March, 2023.
"CAF has announced that the Quarterfinal Draw for the 2022/23 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup will be conducted on Wednesday 05 April 2023 in Cairo, Egypt at 20h30 local time (18h30 GMT and 21h30 East Africa Time)," reads the statement on CAF's website.
"The draw will be live on CAF digital platforms and TV partners," added in the statement.
TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup Group Stage will be concluded this weekend with the Match Day 6 encounters taking place across the continent.
Nigeria champions Rivers United secured their place in the quarterfinal following their 2-all draw with Diable Noirs of Congo last week in Uyo.
