Kwara United of Nigeria secured their place in the next round of the CAF confederation Cup on Sunday at the Stade General Senyi Kountche, Niamey, Niger Republic.
This was after playing goaless draw against Niger's AS Duoanes in the second leg of the preliminary round of the Africa's Club competition to earn 3-0 aggregate win.
The Harmony Boys had defeated the Customs by three goals to nil in the first leg, putting themselves in good stead to make the second round.
United played second fiddle for most of the first 45 minutes as the heroics of goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka came in handy on some occasions to keep the score bare.
Kwara got a grip of the game towards the end of the half, but nothing came out of it as the half ended goaless.
In the second 45 minutes, the Nigeriens continued with the momentum, but thanks once again to Adeyinka's saves on different occasions meant the Afonja Warriors could heave a sigh of relief and a song of victory at the end.
They progress to the next round to play defending champions RSB Berkane.
