According to a report coming from its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, the draw has now been postponed indefinitely and the report further said the new date will be communicated in no distant future.

The postponement may be in connection with some countries including Nigeria which are yet to conclude their leagues and cup competitions.

Nigeria has 3 teams which include league champions Rivers United, runners-up Plateau United and 3rd placed Remo Stars, who all qualified for the Champions League and Confederation Cup but the 4th team is yet to be known.
