Corporate Affairs Manager of Hearts of Oak Joe Addo has revealed the club have already sent scouts to monitor their next opponent in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Phobians are away to Senegalese club Olympique Ngor this weekend for the first leg of the second preliminary round of Africa’s second tier inter-club competition.

Many have however doubted Hearts’ credentials in Africa this season due to their struggles in the domestic league.

Herbert Addo’s side are currently a place above the relegation zone in the First Capital Plus League.

The club’s corporate affairs manager however says the club is serious of progressing in the competition and have thus sent scouts over to monitor their weekend’s opponent.

“We’ve already started preparations for the game,” Joe Addo said.

“We sent scouts over to watch their game and that shows you how serious we are.

“Our objective is to get to the money zone and that is what we are working towards.”

Hearts managed to scale the first hurdle in the CAF Confederations Cup with a 1-0 aggregate win over AS Police of Benin.
