Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Herbert Addo has said he is 'disappointed' with his side's exit from the CAF Confederation Cup after losing on 5-1 aggregate to Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis.
The Phobians crashed out after failing to overturn a 4-0 loss from the first-leg and splitting the points at the Accra Sports Stadium in a 1-1 stalemate on Saturday afternoon.
Hearts of Oak, who won the maiden edition of the competition in 2004, sensationally reached the final knock-out stages with a relatively young and inexperienced squad.
But Addo who also guided AshantiGold to an African competition final expressed disappointment at his side's exit from the competition.
"I'm disappointed we are out of the competition," he told reporters in the post-match presser.
Hearts won four, drew two and lost two in eight games played in this season's competition.
