CAF Champions League: MC Alger among clubs through to second preliminary round

MC Alger produced the standout result of the CAF Champions League 2026-2027 first preliminary round, beating ASN Nigelec 5-0 to reach the next stage after the sides drew 0-0 in the first leg.

Pyramids FC also underlined their superiority over Gor Mahia with a 5-1 victory in the return match, while Simba SC defeated Mighty Wanderers 6-1. Horoya, ASEC Mimosas, Colombe Sportive and a number of other leading clubs also secured qualification.

The results, including those played on Sunday, were confirmed by score platforms.
