CAF have named the referees who will officiate Bidvest Wits and Enugu Rangers encounters with Al Ahly and Zamalek’s in the CAF Champions League.
The White Knights will host the Nigerian side on March 12 in the round of 32 of the CAF Champions League at Borg El-Arab stadium, as they hope to reach the last 16 round for the second year in a row.
English-born South African referee Daniel Bennett will officiate the first-leg, while Gabon’s Eric Otogo-Castane will referee the second-leg in Nigeria.
On the other hand, Morocco’s Redouane Jiyed has been appointed for Al Ahly clash against South Africa’s Bidvest Wits, and Angolan referee Helder Martins de Carvalho will officiate the away-leg.
The Red Devils will face the South African side on Saturday, March 11 at El-Salam Stadium before travelling to South Africa to play the away-leg, which is set to be held between 17 and 19 March.
It’s worth mentioning that, Enugu Rangers qualified to the Champions League as the 2016 Nigerian league champions, while Bidvest Wits qualified as the PSL’s runners-up.
