Axel Taonsa could be included in the Burkina Faso squad for the next international break after impressing for Swedish club Vasteras SK this season.
The 22-year-old attacking player has caught the eye with his performances, including a two-goal display against Orgryte.
Swedish media report that Taonsa is being considered by Burkina Faso head coach Amir Abdou. If selected, he would make his first appearance in the senior national team.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, with the squad announcement scheduled for 17 September during Amir Abdou’s news conference.
Taonsa could therefore be among the new faces in the Burkina Faso squad for the upcoming international window.
