The Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen forward beat Xavi, Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig, Ian Maatsen_ of Borussia Dortmund and Maximilian Beier of Hoffenheim to win the award.
Boniface made instant impact in his first season in the league scoring 13 goals and providing 8 assists despite almost a 3 months injury.
His phenomenal performance saw him named the rookie of the month 4 times in a row- August, September, October and November to help Bayer Leverkusen to their first league win.
The 23-year-old was named in the league's best eleven following his blisteringly performance to his team after a move from Union Saint-Gilloise of Norway in August.
Meanwhile, Boniface appreciated his club after the announcement replying to Leverkusen's post on X with "Naija no dey carry last. Thank you"
