As reported in German media, Union Berlin are about to sign Nigerian U23 international striker Taiwo Awoniyi, on a record transfer fee for Bundesliga side. Turning 24 on August 12, the 1997-born hitman, meant to leave Liverpool on a permanent move this time. Awoniyi used to play for Union Berlin throughout latest season as well.
