Inter Milan has apparently taken concrete steps in advertising for Marcus Thuram. According to information from 'Sky', the Nerazzurri have submitted an initial offer for 22 million euros to Borussia Monchengladbach. However, this was rejected with reference to a 30 million euro price tag for the 24-year-old French.
Thuram himself would like to change this summer, according to 'Sky'. At Inter, the massive right footer beckons the place in the attack next to Lautaro Martínez (23), which was held by Romelu Lukaku (28), who returned to Chelsea last year. Thuram would have to deal with old master Edin Dzeko (35) in the fight for regular deployment times.
It was not actually planned to sell the EM participant this summer. Because the foals are not represented internationally this season, the consultants checked new options for the attacker weeks ago after FT information.
Borussia, for its part, has the cards in hand: Thuram's € 30 million release clause has expired, and € 45 million would be due next year. Inter would have to loosen around a quarter of the 115 Lukaku million.
