Brazilian talent Reinier, who was brought in from Real Madrid on a loan deal, has so far not impressed in Germany. He has just one goal in a total of 245 playing minutes for Die Schwarzengleben.
According to BILD, this has not gone down well with the Dortmund management, as they plan to terminate his loan deal prematurely – by January.
The 19-year-old played an active role in Brazil’s Tokyo Olympics gold medal but things haven’t gone well for him in the Bundesliga. He arrived from Flamengo in 2020 for a whopping €30m but has so far not shown enough progress.
