Thomas Meunier will be back in the Borussia Dortmund squad on Friday evening (8:30 p.m.) in a duel with TSG Hoffenheim. The Belgian international was last affected by the corona virus and was therefore suspended for around two and a half weeks.
"Meunier is an option for us tomorrow, after we didn't have him with us in Freiburg," said head coach Marco Rose, who also noted that the full-back "had another week of training in his legs" and had also worked well.
However, it remains to be seen whether the 29-year-old will be in the starting line-up. Felix Passlack and Emre Can are available as alternatives. For Can, however, the failure of Mats Hummels could also have a place in central defense.
