Borussia Dortmund remain interested in Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot.
As it stands, a move is looking unlikely though.
Dortmund proposed a loan, plus an option to buy, which was rejected by United.
United are unlikely to consider anything less than an obligation to buy – and even then, a move is not guaranteed.
If United’s stance changes, they are likely to go back in for Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier.
Dortmund are already looking at alternatives, with Inter Milan’s Valentino Lazaro a player they are interested in.
