Wendell (28) will soon join FC Porto. As reported by 'O Jogo', the Bayer Leverkusen left-back is already in Portugal to take the Dragoes medical check-up. The Werkself will receive a transfer fee of around four million euros.
Wendell moved from Gremio Porto Alegre to Bayer in 2014 and was often on the pitch as a regular left-back. He has now slipped to third in the hierarchy of positions behind Daley Sinkgraven (26) and newcomer Mitchel Bakker (21).
