Chelsea and Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The 18-year-old, who only moved to Dortmund last summer, is a long-term target of the Blues', according to a report from Goal over the summer transfer window.

The report from June states that Chelsea are trying to build a strong relationship with the German club as they look to swoop for Bellingham and Erling Haaland.

However, a report from the Daily Star earlier this week claims that Liverpool have identified the teenage sensation as their number one target next summer and could look to make an £80million offer to Dortmund.

But a big problem has emerged in Chelsea and Liverpool's reported pursuit of Bellingham. According to Sport 1 reporter Patrick Berger, the England international does not have a release clause in his contract at Signal Iduna Park - making life a lot harder for both the Blues and the Reds.

It is also claimed that Dortmund do not want to sell the former Birmingham City midfielder, which could mean that only a sensational bid will change their stance.
