Bryan Mbeumo continued his impressive start to the Premier League season by scoring in Manchester United’s 1-1 draw at Leeds United on Sunday, 18 October 2026.
The Cameroon international opened the scoring in the 35th minute at Elland Road after an attacking move developed down the right wing. Having also scored in the previous round, Mbeumo has now found the net in consecutive matches.
His latest goal takes his tally to four in the Premier League this season and five in all competitions. That makes him Manchester United’s leading scorer in the league.
Mbeumo is among the players with four Premier League goals this campaign, although he remains behind the leading scorers, including Erling Haaland, who has eight.
Despite Mbeumo’s contribution, Manchester United were unable to hold on for a win and had to settle for a point away from home. The forward’s form nevertheless provides encouragement for the club as he establishes himself as an increasingly important part of the team’s attack.
Manchester United’s next fixture mentioned in the source is against Como in the third matchday of the league phase of the Champions League.
