Ghanaian striker John Antwi has completed a $2.2 million move to Saudi Arabia's Al-Shabab from Egyptian side Ismaily.
Ismaily president Mahmoud Aboul-Saoud said in a television interview that Antwi has penned a two-and-a-half year deal with Al-Shabab, who are based in Saudi capital Riyadh.
The 22-year-old has been one of the Egyptian Premier League's most consistent performers since joining Ismaily, Egypt's third most successful side, in the summer of 2013.
He finished as the league's top scorer last season with 11 goals although Ismaily failed to make it to the final phase in an unfamiliar two-group format.
Antwi has scored 12 league goals in 17 appearances so far this season.
Ismaily have sold many of their top performers during the last few seasons due to persistent financial problems.
Nicknamed the Dervishes, they have not won the league since clinching the last of their three titles in 2002.
