The 28-year-old sealed the return to his former club on Wednesday night after he was offered a better deal than the three other club who were interested in his services.

The Ghana first choice shot stopper was available on a free transfer after terminating his contract with another Segunda Division side Mirandes.

Brimah excelled in the Spanish second tier where he was recognized as the best goalkeeper after helping Mirandes to a decent finish which attracted interest from other clubs including top-flight side Osasuna but negotiations fell through.

He first signed for Cordoba in 2013 but was made to play with the reserve side in the third-tier league.

He was promoted to the first team during the off season and was expecting to feature in the La Liga but was confirmed third choice goalkeeper.

The former Nania FC goalkeeper quit the club in August 2014 in search of regular first team football in order to remain competitive for national team football.

Brimah has been Ghana's first choice goalkeeper and was between the sticks when the Black Stars finished second at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
