Ghana coach Avram Grant has named debutants Lawrence Lartey and midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei in his starting line-up to face Congo on Tuesday while giving the chance to several bench warmers to start the game.
Richmond Boakye Yiadom, Solomon Asante and Edwin Gyimah who have struggled to start Black Stars matches under Avram Grant were also named in the starting line-up.
However some key players and regular starters in the Black Stars will start the game with goalkeeper Razak Brimah starting in the post.
Top players Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew have been rested from the match.
Grant maintains his regular left and right back with Chelsea newboy Baba Rahman and Harrison Afful playing in their respective positions.
Gyimah will partner Ashgold captain Lartey in the heart of the defence while Daniel Nii Adjei will partner Afriyie Acquah in the midfield that also contain Bernard Mensah.
Yiadom will lead the attack with Solomon Asante and Christian Atsu in support.
Ghana take on Congo in Brazzaville on Tuesday with the Black Stars hoping victory can ease unhappiness in certain quarters over Avram Grant’s coaching of the national side.
The Israeli coach has come in for criticism for failing to use home-grown players and often being absent from Ghana.
