BA United coach Mohammed Gargo has been he invited by the Ghana Football Association Ethics Committee to explain his comments his players were involved in betting.
The letter signed on 11 March, 2015 said: "You are hereby requested to appear before the Ethics Committee of the Ghana FA on Monday, 16 March, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Football Association Secretariat to assist in investigations into the alleged players’ involvement in betting."
The ex-international took charge of his first match last Sunday as the Apostles of Power Soccer lost 2-1 to Wa All Stars at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
Gargo was incensed with the attitude of his players and alleged that the involvement of players in betting was the reason behind their poor run of form.
He added that if the players did not change their behaviour, not even the appointment of Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho could save their season.
The former Real Tamale United coach could be on his way out after a meeting with the club’s CEO Roy Arthur.
