Borussia Dortmund ask Greece to limit Konstantinos Karetsas’ playing time

Borussia Dortmund have asked the Hellenic Football Federation to manage the minutes played by 18-year-old midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas, according to Sky Germany.

The German club believe Karetsas has already been exposed to a significant workload for both club and country this season.

Karetsas has featured in three of Greece’s Nations League matches, including their victory over Germany, when he played the full 90 minutes.

The midfielder joined Borussia Dortmund from Genk last summer in a transfer worth 30 million euros.

He is due to face Werder in the German league five days after Greece’s match.
