Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has resumed training with Werder Bremen after joining the Bundesliga club on a season-long loan from Bayer Leverkusen, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 24-year-old was seen in high spirits as he trained with his new teammates for the first time.
However, Boniface will have to wait until the end of the international break to make his debut for Bremen.
He was not included in Nigeria's squad for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa, despite initially being named in the provisional squad.
