Victor Boniface, Bayer Leverkusen's prolific striker, has expressed his desire to replicate last season's triumphs, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Leverkusen made history by winning their first-ever Bundesliga title and DFB Pokal without losing a single game.

The 23-year-old Nigerian forward, who joined Leverkusen from Union St. Gillloise last summer, played a crucial role in the team's success, scoring 21 goals and providing 10 assists in 34 appearances.

“We enjoyed what happened, how we made history and were celebrated by the club. And everyone that witnessed it wants to witness more.” Boniface said in a podcast as per Daily Post.

“I’m ready to give 100 percent to achieve what we achieved last year, and I’m sure it’s the same for the rest of the players.”

Boniface's impressive form made him an instant fan favorite, and he is now eager to defend their league title and continue the team's winning momentum.

His determination and goal-scoring prowess will be essential to Leverkusen's chances of repeating their historic achievements.
