Bologna are reportedly keen to land Fiorentina forward Giuseppe Rossi this summer, as the Italian returns to Italy from a loan spell at Levante.

Rossi’s time in Serie A has been largely plagued by injury, but has maintained a rather impressive goals to games ratio during his time on the peninsula, scoring 19 times in just 41 appearances for La Viola.

According to Calciomercato, the Rossoblu have already opened negotiations with the Firenze club, with both parties willing to make the move happen.

Having previously played in Italy with Parma, Rossi left Serie A in 2007 only to return in 2013.

During the 2015-16 season, the New York-born forward started just four times for Fiorentina, making an additional seven appearances as a substitute.
