Portuguese club, Boavista has turned down a €2.5m offer from Turkish side Trabzonspor for Super Eagles defender Bruno Onyemaechi, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Turkish news outlet Fotomac claims that Trabzonspor's bid falls short of Boavista's valuation of the 25-year-old left-back, who has been one of the club's standout performers this season.
Boavista is reportedly holding out for a fee in the region of €3m for Onyemaechi, who was recently voted the club's December Player of the Month.
Onyemaechi initially joined Boavista on loan from Feirense in the 2022/23 season, before making the move permanent the following campaign.
The Nigerian defender's impressive form has attracted interest from several clubs, but Boavista are determined to keep hold of him unless their valuation is met.
