Ghana winger Christian Atsu continued to stay out of the Bournemouth squad for their Premier League games despite recovering from injury.

The 23-year-old recovered from injury before the international break and featured in Ghana's 2017 AFCON qualifying triumph over Rwanda last weekend.

Atsu was expected to play his first game for Eddie Howe's side after gaining match fitness but he failed to make the Bournemouth squad for their Premier League tie at Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

The former FC Porto winger is on loan from Chelsea and is hoping to improve his Premier League records after flopping at Everton last season.

He won the 2015 AFCON MVP of the tournament after has failed to translate his performance to his club side.

Atsu has not been given a fair chance by any of the premiership clubs that he has so far played for yet. To me and the decent people people who know football, he is still a to stari in our eyes.
