The Black Stars will begin a nonresidential camping in Accra on Thursday ahead of their Africa cup of nation’s qualifiers against Mauritius.

Head coach of the team Avram Grant arrived in the country on Sunday to begin preparation as Ghana bid to hit the ground running and secure qualification as soon as possible.

Most of the players are in town for their offseason and will begin preparation for the game against Mauritius on Thursday with a venue yet to be confirmed.

Ghana finished second in the last edition but Israeli boss Avram Grant has been given a target to win the next edition as the four time Africa champions have gone 33 years without winning a trophy.

The Stars will open their qualification campaign against Mauritius on the 14th of June at the Accra Sports stadium.
