Ghana goalkeepers’ trainer Nassamu Yakubu has squashed reports he has a fractured relationship with Adam Larsen Kwarasey insisting he is always welcome to the team when he is ready.

Kwarasey, who recently signed for Major League Soccer side Portland Timbers, launched a scathing attack on Yakubu after the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The 26-year-old alleged Yakubu was behind his demotion as first choice goalkeeper despite excelling in Ghana’s Group G opener against USA.

Kwarasey asked to be excused from Avram Grant’s provisional 31-man squad for the Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea.

“I don’t feel guilty. I don’t think I am the reason he (Kwarasey) doesn’t want to play for the Black Stars. I know I have no problem with him and I am just doing my job,” Nasamu is quoted by dailysoccerGhana.com

    All those who are pouring these insults and curses on yakubu are all ignorant thugs in our streets who don't understand the real meaning of life. No wonder if the back of your teeth is not taste yet it is there for you to link. After you all accused Yakubu of favouritism and keep on cursing his stars then where is the man Kwarasey you are fighting for. He has dumped you simply because yakubu benched him for Dauda . What will you said of the other players and some of our patrotic personalities who endured much suffering and agony yet they never give up trying to help Ghana. kwarasey is a footballer called to play for Ghana as an opportunity and not just a mandate to rule. so if he failed to get a first team chance or the trainer he don't like must he neglet a whole nation because of one person he thought is corrupt. Let him ask Boakye Yiadom David Accam Frank Achempong and other talented players who are also suffering in the same commowealth of pain yet they will never dream of dumping Ghana because of a few corrupt officials. Go back to you grandparents and learn the wisedom of patrotism.
