Ghana coach Avram Grant says he is expecting the Black Stars to give a solid display against 'a strong side like Togo' in Monday's friendly.
The Stars will take on the Hawks of Togo in a friendly game on Monday with the game marking the return of the Black Stars to the Accra Sports stadium.
Both Togo and Ghana are using the game as part of preparations for their 2017 AFCON qualifiers against Liberia and Mauritius respectively.
Israeli coach Avram Grant will be playing his first game in Ghana since his appointment last December and says his focus is to see his side play top level football.
“It is good to play at home since we play for the fans. The focus on the game is to play well and bond as a team, ” Grant said after the teams final training session in Accra on Sunday.
‘” We try to give a top level performance in every game and tomorrow will not be different."
“Togo is a top class class side and the attention is to give a solid performance.”
Avram Grant led Ghana to a second place finish in Equatorial Guinea but has been tasked to end Ghana’s 33 year wait for an AFCON trophy in the next edition.
