Chairman of the management committee of the Black Satellites Wilfred Osei has ruled out working with head coach Sellas Tetteh in the future after the team crashed out of the FIFA U20 world cup at the round of sixteen stage.
Tetteh, who led Ghana to a historic triumph in Egypt six years ago has come under massive pressure following Ghana’s flat performance in New Zealand.
A reported frosty relationship between the coach and Osei who is the head of delegation for the team was one of the reasons which attributed to the teams heavy disappointments.
A situation Palmer admits will be difficult to overlook in future assignments.
“I had never interfered with selection of players. When it came to who made the team and who did not make the team it was the coaches decision,” the Tema Youth Chief told Accra based Citi FM
“Who played or even who did not was entirely the decision of the head coach.”
But when quizzed if he would stick with the 2009 world cup winning coach for future assignments Palmer blatantly turned down the opportunity.
“I will reconsider my position if I was to work with him in the future.”
