NPFL: Big Blow For Abia Warriors As Skipper Obaroakpo Out For Three Weeks Over Injury

Published on: 25 February 2017

Abia Warriors captain, Augustine Obaroakpo  has been ruled out of action for three weeks after sustaining a knee injury during a training session.

The centre-back recently returned to the team after missing four games due to a  toe injury.

His injury is a big blow to the Umuahia- based side who have failed to pick positive results in recent games.

They lost 1-0 at home against El-kanemi Warriors last weekend with coach Okey Emordi resigning after the game.

His former assistant, Abdullahi Biffo will be in-charge when they take on Akwa United today at the Godswill International Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
