Bendel Insurance head coach, Greg Ikhenoba, has praised his team’s determination following their 1-0 victory over Sunshine Stars in Matchday 30 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin.
Kayode Oke Solomon scored the decisive goal in the 20th minute, securing all three points for the Benin Arsenals against the Owena Whales of Akure.
Speaking after the game, Ikhenoba acknowledged the significance of the victory and commended his players for their efforts despite fatigue.

?? “I thank God we got the three points. It was what we planned to get. I thank the management for standing behind us and thank the boys for their resilience.
“Some of my players were fatigued. They needed rest because we have been very busy, playing two or three games within a week and making long-distance trips. Last week, we traveled to Umuahia for a game against Abia Warriors, and the next day, we moved to Lafia for the Round of 64 FA Cup match. So, I must commend my boys—they have done well.”
