Arsenal are monitoring Hull City winger Bachir Belloumi, with the London club understood to be interested in the Algeria international’s potential and his ability to adapt to English football.
The 24-year-old right winger is on Arsenal’s radar as the Gunners look for a talented player capable of taking the next step in his development and establishing himself in the Premier League, according to Oussama Benamara.
Hull City may be prepared to listen to offers if Belloumi makes it clear that he wants to leave. The potential cost of a transfer is thought to be between 28.5 and 40 million euros.
However, Arsenal have not made a formal approach or submitted an official request for information. The situation remains at the stage of interest, rather than an active transfer negotiation.
Belloumi is under contract with Hull City until 2029. His market value is estimated at 18 million euros by Transfermarkt, meaning a move to Arsenal would represent a significant step forward in his career.
Arsenal are understood to hope they could agree a more reasonable fee, similar to the deal that brought Leandro Trossard from Brighton in January 2023. The Belgium international joined for about 25 million pounds.
The winger’s next move will depend on whether Arsenal’s interest develops into concrete action and on Belloumi’s own intentions. Hull City’s willingness to consider a transfer could also be influenced by the player’s position.
Arsenal will soon play Liverpool in the ninth round of the English championship.
