Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany became unwell during training on Friday and required medical attention, the club have confirmed.
Reports had previously claimed that the 39-year-old lost consciousness during the session and was taken to hospital as an emergency.
Bayern did not provide further details in their statement about Kompany’s condition, but confirmed that he had to seek medical assistance after feeling unwell.
The German champions are due to face Freiburg on 25 October in the seventh round of the Bundesliga.
