Bayelsa Queens' Ubong Edet makes CAF WCL team of the tournament

Bayelsa Queens'Ubong Edet was listed among the just concluded CAF Women's Champions League team of the tournament, Nigeriasoccernet.com.

In the list released by CAF on Monday, the tournament winner ASFAR dominated the list with 6 players, Sundowns had 3 players while Bayelsa Queens and Simba Queens had one player each.

Bayelsa Queens finished 3rd after defeating Simba Queens by a lone goal in the 3rd place match.

ASFAR emerged winner of the 2022 CAF Women's Champions League after beating former champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies 4-0 in the final.
