Bayelsa Queens acquire new players

Bayelsa Queens have acquired three players to beef up the team ahead of the forthcoming Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

The players are Oscar Precious from Imo Strikers (attacker), Confidence Onen (attacker) from Kwara Ladies and an attacking midfielder Yinusa Zainab from Dream Stars Ladies of Lagos.

The three players were from the just concluded NWFL Championship that was held in Calabar, the Cross Rivers State capital.

Technical Adviser of the Prosperity Girls, Whyte Ogbonda said they secured the services of Oscar, Yinusa and Onen, to bolster the team most especially the attack so as to have a complete team for next season.

“With the three new players we are well prepared for the commencement of the league”, Whyte said.

“We have difficulty in scoring goals the out gone season, but, with the coming in of two strikers to add to the attacking force and one attacking midfielder, the Prosperity Girls are good to go”, Ogbonda Whyte added.
