Fulham defender Calvin Bassey has cautioned against getting carried away with the team's recent impressive form in the Premier League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Whites secured a 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest at Craven Cottage on Saturday, with Bassey scoring the winning goal.
The result lifted Fulham to eighth in the table, five points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester City, sparking talk of a potential European push.
However, Bassey refused to look too far ahead, stressing the importance of taking each game as it comes.
"Everyone always asks me about this European thing," he told Premier League Productions.
"For us, it's just taking each game as it comes. Of course, our goal is to get there, but I think it's just taking each game as it comes."
