Barcelona are doubtful about Jules Kounde’s availability for this weekend’s La Liga meeting with Real, with the defender considered unlikely to recover in time for El Clasico.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Barcelona coaching staff are sceptical about the France international’s chances of featuring in the match at the weekend.
Kounde suffered an ankle ligament strain during Barcelona’s game against Betis. The injury subsequently ruled him out of the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.
Barcelona were beaten 4-2 in Paris, their first defeat of the season.
Barcelona will host Real on 25 October, with kick-off scheduled for 23:00 Moscow time.
