"?Barcelona have officially unveiled their home kit for the 2016/17 season, with two major changes to the new look strip.
The Catalan giants had switched to horizontal hoops of their traditional red and blue at the start of the season just gone, but the outcry over the disappearance of their traditional design has seen them revert back to vertical stripes for the 2016/17 campaign.

The other notable change on the shirt is the complete absence of a title sponsor, the plain look harkening back to the time before the club sold the space on the front of their kits.
The plain look may not be a permanent one though, but one born of the fact that the club's agreement with Qatar Airways is set to expire next month - with no replacement or contract extension yet in place.
A club statement read: "For the 2016/17 season, FC Barcelona will be wearing a new Nike kit that that features the club's classic broad vertical stripes, alternate FC Barcelona's traditional red and blue with lighter shades of the same hues. Thinner tonal stripes taper near the hem in a style that honours the model worn by the team in the 1991/92 season, when the club won its first ever European Cup at Wembley."

The kit is still supplied by Nike, with whom the club recently agreed a new ten-year deal which "?has been reported to be worth a yearly sum in the region of £120m.
