Barcelona have reacted to Lionel Messi’s farewell match for Argentina, in which the forward helped his country beat Benin 3-0.
Messi scored once and provided two assists in the match, which marked his final appearance for the national team.
The 39-year-old is a product of Barcelona’s academy and represented the Catalan club from 2005 until 2021.
