Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo is expected to be sidelined for about four weeks after suffering an injury in the club’s Champions League league-phase match against Paris St-Germain.
The 27-year-old has been diagnosed with a tear to the adductor muscle in his thigh, according to Sport.es. The injury occurred following a collision with an opponent.
Olmo will consequently miss Barcelona’s upcoming meeting with Real Madrid, scheduled for 25 October at the Catalan club’s home stadium.
Barcelona were beaten 4-2 by Paris St-Germain on 20 October. Olmo was named in the starting line-up but was substituted in the 27th minute.
