Spanish giant Barcelona have reportedly contacted Ademola Lookman's camp as they weigh up a potential summer move for the Nigeria international who is expected to leave Atalanta at the end of the season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Reports from Caught Offside indicate that FC Barcelona has made contact with the representative of Ademola Lookman. This interest arises amidst speculation that Lookman might be seeking a new club this summer, reportedly due to a strained relationship with Atalanta's manager, Gian Piero Gasperini.

However, the Catalan giants might find themselves priced out of a potential deal, as Atalanta has reportedly placed a substantial €60-65 million valuation on the 27-year-old.

Adding to the narrative, Diario AS suggests that Atletico Madrid is also in the market for a player who can operate effectively on the left flank. Despite their need, Los Rojiblancos, like Barcelona, are reportedly hesitant to meet Lookman's hefty transfer fee.

Premier League giants – Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal – are all closely monitoring the Nigerian international's situation. Furthermore, Italian powerhouse Juventus is also said to be keen on securing his services.

However, much like the Spanish clubs, the substantial €60-65 million transfer fee demanded by Atalanta could prove to be a considerable obstacle for La Vecchia Signora as well in the upcoming summer transfer window.
