James Maddison says he remains “loyal to Tottenham” after helping the club secure their first win of the English Premier League season.
Tottenham beat Coventry 3-1 at home in the seventh round of the competition, with Maddison scoring one of the goals. The midfielder celebrated by kissing the club badge.
“I am loyal to Tottenham,” Maddison said.
The goal was his first of the current campaign. Maddison has made six appearances for Tottenham across all competitions this season, scoring once.
