Lobi Stars head coach, Mohammed Babaganaru has alerted other clubs participating at the Federations Cup that his team is in the competition to lift the tittle, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Makurdi based outfit are playing Nigeria National League club, One Rocket in the Round of 64 in this year’s competition at the Akwa City Stadium on Wednesday.
Lobi Stars are also hoping to go all the way in competition as well as perform well in the league.
“The needed confidence has been instilled in my players ahead of our Federation Cup match tomorrow,” Babaganaru stated as quoted by Daily Post.
“We are building a winning momentum to secure a positive result in Awka as you know the Federation Cup competition is a highly unpredictable tournament.
“This match will also be a morale booster for our next league match against Niger Tornadoes.”
