Ahead of the 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, Super Falcons and Barcelona Feminine striker Asisat Oshoala has revealed her set targets going into the tournament, Nigeriasoccernet can report.
One of the best the country has ever produced in her position, Asisat Oshoala has risen to what can be argued the pinnacle of her career although many still believes she need to do more to be named among the greatest to have played the game in the world.
"I don't have any target, my main goal is to help my team either by scoring goals or defending and whatever that will help my team to win, I'm ready to do it," Oshoala said.
Despite missing a larger portion of the season injured, Oshoala still clinched the pichichi award for the highest goal scorer in the Spanish Iberdrola with 20 goals.
Stripped off her captaincy role, the former FC Robo of Lagos star is still expected to play a huge role as Nigeria seeks her 10th Women Africa Cup of Nations title.
