Ashleigh Plumptre put up an impressive performance to help Al-ittihad to a 3-0 win against Eastern Flames on Friday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Super Falcons defender notched two assists to set up Lina Boussaha twice in the first half as the hosts earned an emphatic win at the Prince Saud Bin Jalawi Stadium.
Hala Khashoggi opened the scoring in the 19th minutes before Plumptre delivered the assist for Lina Boussaha to double the lead in the 27th minutes.
She linked up with Boussaha once again to deliver Al Ittihad’s third goal in the 31st minute as the Tigress headed to dressing room with a comfortable lead at the end of the first 45 minutes.
The scoreline remained the same in the second half as Al-Ittihad record their consecutive win in the league after two matches played.
Plumptre has now been involved in 32 goals in 32 matches since joining the Saudi Arabian club.
