Ashantigold assistant coach Yakubu Mohammed Sheriff lashed out at referee Desmond Abbey after Robin Gnagne's late penalty earned Hearts a point in their 2-2 stalemate.
The miners were cruising to a comfortable 2-1 win until the centre referee awarded a penalty to the home side at the death.
The resultant spot kick was expertly converted by captain Robin Ggnane and Ashantigold deputy coach Yakubu Mohammed Sherif was left furious with the decision.
“The time was up but the game was still ongoing, it was shocking,” he said.
“Then referee at the center knows the best and he gave a penalty.
“He put five minutes on after the game and the Hearts player dived and he took a penalty.”
The miners will turn their attention to their next game against Wa All Stars while Hearts take on city rivals Great Olympics in an explosive contest in Accra.
