Asante Kotoko stop-gap coach Michael Osei says he is not under-pressure as he readies to lead the side against WAFA on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko could not name a replacement for Mas-Ud Dramani who was asked by the club’s board of directors to proceed on leave on Monday.
The Porcupine Warriors need a win badly to get their title defence back on track after recording two wins; two draws and three defeats in seven matches.
Osei, a former club striker, says he is ready for the task ahead.
“I’m not under any pressure. This won’t be the first time I will be there. When we played Aduana, I was there alone. Even in the FA Cup final, Didi was out of the country but we won,” he told the club’s official newspaper Kotoko Express.
“We have done a lot of work. A lot of physical work. Things look positive. I believe in the players. They know the situation we find ourselves in. They must there come to the party and do their best to change the situation.”
